Ahhhhhh! I was driving my truck and i ramed into a chair (in the shop), not on purpose and my wheel wrenched right and then my steering didn't work. So I take off the body, look,"I can't see anything wrong." I go to look at my cross section thingy and see that the little plastic piece in the servo saver is gone. I go back to the shop, find all 3 broken pieces. I try to CA glue them together, put it back on but it no work. so now I have to wait till someone goes into the city and will get that part. I can still line up my truck in a strait line to do jumps but its not as much fun. Oh well things brake.(12/3/00) |
I was jumping my truck today. It was running good but it wasn't like usual when the battery started to run low. So i looked at it and i accidentaly hit the trottle and my finger was hitting the end of the metal shaft in the engine and the wheels spun. I took my finger away, they spun slower, put 'em on, good. I looked at the motor and it has a bunch of dust and gunk in it but i don't know how to clean it out even though it is a rebuildable motor.(trinity p2k)
(12/4/00) I ran my truck today and did some jumps. It ran fine exept for that i have no steering

I just got some aluminum shocks for my outrage and some trinity shock oit and four road hawgs tires, now it should go good on road!!! I also got a duratrax max st and it is kool, I will have more info. on that soon.

I have ran my Kyosho 2 times,(today and yesterday)and it ran very well and the shocks and new tiers worked very well too. I fird up my max st (yesterday) and it well, ran but then I flooded it. I never drove it anywhere because I could only get it to idle. Today I went to the hobby shop and bought a fuel filter, glow plug wrench, glow plug, and after run oil. I tried and tried to start my Max today and it kept stalling on me when I took off the glow starter but then I got it to idle and I idled a whole tank off and hope fully tommorow I will actually drive it around.

I think that the part that broke should have not even have been made, it is simple, there are two pieces of plastic and then the little piece is in between. The two big pieces could have been made togetherso that little piece isn't there, I dont know why they did that. Oh well, I was going pretty fast with my trinity p2k. I don't blame it for braking.

Now I have to go to the hobbie shop and ask them how to take my motor apart to clean it. Oh well, at least they're very friendly/helpfull. I also have to get a little took to take a gear off, I don't know what happened to my other one.

(12/6/00) I installed the part and i have steering!!! I took 15 pics. allready.
(12/7/00) I emailed Hobbico to tell them of my problem with the servo saver. I CA glued two of the pieces together (how they should be) and i will try to see if it will work and not brake so easily.
(12/8/00) O.K., here is what I did, the servo saver; this little ring piece that connects two other pieces keeps braking, so I took the steering apart and CA glued all those 3 pieces together and there is a bit of exess glue in where the little metal shaft goes and i will drill that out and I'm hoping that thiss will be stronger than even usual.

My servo saver is holding up good, I didn't crash it much which is good but I got it wedged under a toolbox and i had to get it out by putting a board under the toolbox.
